Sarasota News Leader March 29, 2013 Page 61 MOTHER ARRESTED AND CHARGED IN CHILD NEGLECT CASE` The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 27-year-old woman after discovering numerous incidents of child abuse and neglect — with additional charges for other crimes still pending, the office has announced. Investigators with the Pharmaceutical Diversion Unit first became concerned while listening to calls between Jacqueline Moore and her boyfriend, who is in the Sarasota County Jail, a Sheriff's Office report says. "It was evident that her 7- and 3-year-old boys were constantly exposed to verbal and physical abuse," it adds. "Moore also admits in conversation to leaving the children alone in the car on several occasions," the report continues.
