Sarasota News Leader October 25, 2013 Page 92 11-TIME CONVICTED FELON ARRESTED AGAIN IN SARASOTA A Sarasota man with 11 prior felony convictions was found to have a loaded pistol in his possession when he was arrested on Oct. 17 for a parole violation, the Sarasota Police Department has reported. Quinton Davis, 26, of 5325 Desoto Place, Sarasota, was charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon: Firearm, Possession of Weapon by Convicted Florida Felon and Possession of Ammo by Convicted Felon, according to the report. When officers arrested him about 11 p.m. at his home, the report says, officers found Davis had a loaded .40-caliber Glock in his waistband; it was loaded with eight rounds, including one in the chamber. Officers also found a black ski mask lying on the ground next to where Davis had been standing outside the residence, the report notes.
