Sarasota News Leader May 24, 2013 Page 95 GLORIA MUSICAE SELECTS STEVEN KLINDT AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Gloria Musicae, Sarasota 's professional chorus — which is celebrating its 34th season in the region — has announced that Steven Klindt has been hired as the new executive director. Klindt previously was director of development at the Roskamp Institute in Sarasota. He also served as director of development and public affairs for the Tampa Museum of Art, where he was in charge of programs for individual and major giving; government relations; foundation grants; corporate underwriting and sponsorships; and a successful capital campaign to build a new facility and increase the museum's endowment, a news release says. "We are very pleased to welcome Steven to Gloria Musicae," said Charles Chauncey, Gloria Musicae's board president, in a news release. "Steven brings more than 30 years' experience in not-for-profit arts administration to the chorus. He will provide leadership for our fundraising, marketing and strategic planning — all of which are areas where he has a great wealth of experience and success."
