Sarasota News Leader September 6, 2013 Page 68 PATRIOTS PARK TO HOST ANNUAL 9/11 MEMORIAL CEREMONY Members of the public are invited to attend the annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at Patriots Park in Venice from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Organizers say more than 3,000 American flags will be placed around the park grounds for the event, a news release says. Additionally, the Wave Grill in the Ramada Venice Resort at 425 U.S. 41 Bypass North in Venice will hold a luncheon for interested persons and guest speakers from the ceremony. It will begin shortly after noon. The cost is $7.95 plus tax, the release adds. For more information or to make reservations, call 308-7700. The reservations are being accepted on a firstcome, first-serve basis, the news release notes.
