Following the Wednesday technical meeting,
the group held a Thursday evening meet-andgreet in the City Commission chambers with
a short briefing and Q&A session.
But what really is out of the ordinary are plans
to hold open meetings in the City Hall Annex on the second and fourth Mondays every
month at 10 a.m. This is when the contractor
and city staff will swap information, ask questions and make decisions. The twice-monthly
meetings are open to anyone, so people can
ask questions of the experts.
The city has invested about $8 million so far in
the project. If all goes well, the new lift station
should be in full operation by August 2015. %
