Photo courtesy Sarasota County Sheriff's Office MAN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH GROW HOUSE IN SARASOTA The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has dismantled a grow house operation in Sarasota and arrested the man responsible for it, the office announced on Oct. 17. After detectives with the Special Investigations Section obtained a search warrant for the house at 4548 Gallup Ave., they found a grow operation in two rooms, a news release says. "They seized 31 marijuana plants that weighed nearly 38 pounds," it adds.
