FLORIDA STUDIO THEATRE TO PRESENT REGIONAL PREMIERE
OF THURGOOD
Florida Studio Theatre will present the
regional premiere of Thurgood, by George
Stevens Jr., in FST's Keating Theatre on
Friday, Dec. 13, the theatre has announced.
the release points out. "A journey of epic proportions, Thurgood is an eye-opening, moving,
humorous and an uplifting portrait of a true
American hero."
"Thurgood is a powerful play based on the
life of [U.S. Supreme Court] Justice Thurgood
Marshall," a news release explains. "From
a childhood in the back alleys of Baltimore
to the Supreme Court of the United States,
Justice Marshall overcame many adversities,"
Single tickets range from $18 to 32.
Performances will continue through Feb. 22.
