THE SABAL DRIVE HOUSE
Although I was unable to learn any details, I
did find out through a search of court records
that David Pearce, assistant Sarasota County
attorney, cancelled a temporary injunction
hearing that was set for Dec. 18 regarding illegal construction at 6537 Sabal Drive.
Regular readers know that the owners of that
house, Siesta Resorts LLC, violated both the
county building code and Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA) floodplain regulations in creating a lot of extra bedrooms
on the ground floor.
