The saga of the Sabal Drive house on Siesta Key has grown even more interesting, thanks to new information from the county, the state and a bevy of sources who have been following this story from across the country. Late last year, Cooper was in the news himself for his creative writing as well as his journal- ism, and he was most deserving of the atten- tion. I really do not put him in the spotlight in this space as often as I should. He has an extraordinary gift for translating even the most complex topics into easy and pleasur- able reading — as anyone who has read his stories about the 2050 Plan can attest.
