The Sarasota Bay Estuary Program (SBEP) and Sarasota Bay Watch are hosting the Gulf Coast Heritage Art Exhibit through March at the Federal Building in downtown Sarasota, the organizations have announced. The Federal Building, which is located at 111 S. Orange Ave., is open during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., a news release says. SBEP's head- quarters is in the building. "The free exhibit showcases art that celebrates local history, including paintings of early life along the Gulf Coast," the release notes. Among the partic- ipating artists are William Harman, Wilfred Berg and Larry Stults, the release continues. Stults' Chief's Fish House is shown.
