The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has
released more information and a video show-
ing the suspects in the Wednesday, March 19,
robbery in the parking lot of Beall's Outlet on
Cattlemen Road in Sarasota.
The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. that
day, according to an earlier report from the
Sheriff's Office.
Witnesses say a white male grabbed the
female victim's purse, knocked her down and
fled along with a black male wearing a dark
shirt and what appears to be long dark shorts,
a news release points out. Detectives say the
white male suspect has a dark crew cut and
that he was wearing a red basketball-type
jersey with the number 42 in white on the
back, the release adds.
The suspects fled in a silver four-door Saturn
driven by a white female with straight hair,
the release continues. The front of the car
appears to have an empty license plate frame.
