A Bradenton woman has been arrested and charged with Armed Burglary and Aggravated Battery in connection with a stabbing reported on the morning of March 23 on Leonard Reid Avenue in Sarasota, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has reported. Natasha S. Davis, 28, whose last known address was 705 33rd Ave. Drive East, Bradenton, was arrested in the 2300 block of 36th Street in Sarasota by Sarasota Police Department offi- cers using Sheriff's Office Warrants, according to a Sheriff's Office news release. The stabbing was reported just after 4 a.m. on March 23 at 3140 Leonard Reid Ave., the release says. The victim told deputies that a woman she knew as Tasha entered her residence and attacked her by stabbing her twice in the leg, the release says. The suspect fled the area westbound across Leonard Reid Avenue and toward the railroad tracks, the release adds. The victim was treated at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and released, the release notes. Image from Google Maps The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office wrote 206 citations to motorists who were not wearing their seatbelts and cited another 366 with speeding, 59 for driving with a sus- pended license and one for reckless driving during its most recent Click It or Ticket Campaign, which ran March 3-15, the office has announced. The campaign resulted in 22 DUI arrests as well, a news release says. "The effort was part of a nationwide push to save lives by intensifying efforts to educate the public about seat belt laws and enforce them with all motorists around the clock," the release explains.
