The vote was 8-2, with Vice Mayor Willie Shaw and City Commissioner Susan Chapman dissenting. The boards also agreed to reconvene again in 60 days — as suggested by County Vice Chairwoman Christine Robinson — after staff and the consultants have a better idea of the environmental and logistical issues that will have to be addressed and how much those would cost. Snyder said he thinks the East Avenue site looks more feasible because of the potential cost of environmental cleanup and relocation of city utility vehicles necessary if the boards chose the Osprey Avenue site. Atwell con- curred with that sentiment. "Right now I would look at the 1800 East Ave. site and how we can work it out [there]," Atwell said.
