The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has arrested two Miami men who allegedly used counterfeit credit cards to buy merchandise and gift cards worth thousands of dollars, the office has reported. A Walmart loss prevention employee called the Sheriff's Office on the afternoon of June 13 to report that two suspects whom the employee recognized from prior crimes were at the store, a news release states. When dep- uties arrived, "the men tried to flee on foot but were quickly detained," it says.
