By the time the ribbon is cut on the project, the total cost — including work on the "invis- ible" design — could exceed $28 million. City staff and the City Commission hope some of that can be recovered from the city's lawsuit against AECOM. Depending on final cost estimates, the building could feature solar power panels on the flat roof, and it could be faced in brick or stucco.
