Julie Morris, New College of Florida's assistant vice president of academic affairs, has an extensive history of environmental service. It includes being the first formally elected chair of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and serving as chair of the Gulf of Mexico Fishery Manage- ment Council.
