Page 23 THE EXPLANATION Barbetta requested a follow-up this week relative to the board's Nov. 20 review of residents' complaints regarding noise and lighting issues at Bob's Boathouse. Polk told the commissioners he has been going through Building Department documentation to get a clear picture of all the relative issues. As a result, he said, he determined three other outstanding matters must be resolved, in addition to the water and sewer capacity fees issue. Those are the completion of site and development plans, which have to be certified by county staff; shoreline plantings required as a buffer to help protect neighbors from the noise generated by the business; and conveyance of utility easements to the county. Second, a motion by Commissioner Nora Patterson directed staff to continue providing regular updates to the board on code compliance issues involving the business, which is located at 5515 S.
