about addressing the projected general fund
shortfall.
The County Commission will hold its first
budget workshops in February for the Fiscal
Year 2015 spending plan.
Fratangelo noted that the Department of
Revenue projections are just that. "It's just
an estimate for the out years," she said. "We
don't get the actual values from the Property
Appraiser's Office until June [of each year]."
For Fiscal Year 2014, property values rose 4.2
percent. The five years before that, the values
decreased. %
