There is no time of year when nothing is
in bloom. Spring can arrive before autumn
bows out. At the Fakahatchee Strand near
Naples, red maples, irrepressible in their
rush to be first, key out in early December.
Now with the sun rising higher in the sky,
there is no holding back, no matter what
the calendar says. %
