and the millage rates at 5:15 p.m. on July 29 in
its chambers at The Landings in Sarasota. The
final budget will be adopted on Sept. 16, after
the 2013-14 spending plan has been closed
out and staff has factored in the actual enroll-
ment figures reported after the new school
year begins in August.
The total millage is 7.777, meaning a taxpay-
er's bill will reflect a payment of $7.777 for
every $1,000 of property value. The Required
Local Effort rate set by the state is 4.529,
down 0.193 mills compared to the 4.722 figure
for the current fiscal year.
