In less time than the 20 minutes nor-
mally accorded a petitioner, the Sarasota
County Commission on Wednesday, Feb.
19, approved a variance to allow the Siesta
Towers Condominium Association to replace
two fishing piers on its property, which fronts
Big Sarasota Pass and the Gulf of Mexico.
The complex is located at 4822 Ocean Blvd.,
just north of Siesta Village.
