The Unitarian Universalist Church of
Sarasota will present internationally
known performer James Durst in concert
at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, the church
has announced.
"Quietly traversing the planet … since 1965,
Durst has performed for rapt audiences of
every age in all 50 states and the District
of Columbia and more than 200 cities in
45 countries," a news release says. He has
presented concerts throughout the Americas
and in Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East,
Southeast Asia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Japan
and Korea, it points out.
Admission will be $15 in advance by con-
tacting Gail Colella at 924-2848 or $18 at the
door, the release notes.
The church is located at 3975 Fruitville Road
in Sarasota.
