Barry Lynn, executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, will speak at two events on Saturday, April 5 — at 10:30 a.m. at the Congregation for Humanistic Judaism (CHJ) in Sarasota and at 3 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Christ in Bradenton, organizers of the programs have announced. His topic will be Religious Liberty: The True, the False, the Ugly, a news release says. Lynn has appeared frequently on television and cable broadcasts such as Nightline, Crossfire, Meet the Press, Good Morning America and NBC Nightly News, the release adds. A member of the Washington, D.C., Bar Association as well as an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, Lynn recently was awarded the Puffin Prize for Creative Citizenship "for challenging the status quo LYNN TO SPEAK ON RELIGIOUS LIBERTY DURING TWO PROGRAMS
