PART OF 12TH STREET TO BE CLOSED TEMPORARILY IN THE CITY
Twelfth Street between Osprey Avenue and
Gillespie Avenue will be closed Friday, June
21, starting at approximately 6 p.m., the city
has announced.
The road is expected to reopen the following
morning at approximately 6 a.m., a city news
release says. Motorists should follow the posted detour signs.
The partial road closure is necessary while
crews test the city's new deep injection well,
the release notes. To conduct the test, an 18inch pipe will be stretched across 12th Street
from the Utilities Department building to the
nearby well, the release adds.
