Anyone interested in commenting on the Sarasota County Commission plan to vacate right
of way by The Hub Baja Grill in Siesta Village should plan on attending a public hearing
shortly after 9 a.m. on July 10 at the County
Administration Center in downtown Sarasota.
The County Commission voted 3-1 on June 18
to set the date for the hearing, with Commissioner Nora Patterson — who lives on Siesta
Key — casting the "No" vote as she did when
the board voted on April 24 to approve a lawsuit settlement with Chris Brown, owner of
