Sarasota News Leader September 28, 2012 LOGOS, a once-a week, after-school program especially for children in grades K-5, providing Bible study and games, as well as exposure to worship through art and music. The LOGOS program is particularly focused on connecting young children with older mem- bers of the parish, Redeemer parish leaders say. Each week's program ends with a themed dinner, when conversation across generations yields rewards for all ages. Offerings include before-school Bible study on Friday mornings, community service activities and projects, mission trips, and weekly group meetings with Youth Minis- ter Chris Wood to discuss and work through the challenges and opportunities of life as young Christian adults. For college-age, working and retired adults, Redeemer offers a wide range of fellowship and educational offerings designed to deepen an understanding of faith and provide thought- ful context for lifelong spiritual journeys. Be- ginning this month, Redeemer's Gillespie Hall is the site of multiple morning and evening classes covering topics such as "Christian Leadership Concepts," "Raising a Modern-Day Knight," "Strong Fathers-Strong Daughters," "Connecting with Computers," a study of The Book of Daniel, and an in-depth look at The Gospel According to St. Luke and The Acts of the Apostles, among many other courses, prayer groups and Bible studies.
