Photo by Carol LoRicco DOO WOP GROUP COMING TO VENICE COMMUNITY CENTER The sounds of 1950s Doo Wop will fill the Ven- ice Community Center when Lola and The Saints take the stage at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29. Formed in the Bronx, N.Y., in 1964, Lola and The Saints have enjoyed a long career in show business, a county news release noted. Performing hits such as "ABCs of Love," "Tears on My Pillow," "Why Do Fools Fall in Love," "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" and more, "Lola and The Saints will bring back memories of street corner harmony at its best," a county news release says. The center will offer a full cash bar, light snacks, theater- and cabaret-style seating and a large dance floor for the performance.
