The com- mission, sitting as the Community Redevel- opment Agency, will consider the totality of the deal. Later, in the evening, city staffers and Lido Key residents will report on what they can do or what should be done to keep the Lido Pool open. Formerly under county maintenance, the pool was passed back to the city under a revised interlocal agreement. Because it runs a significant deficit, there has been pressure to close it, but neighbors have other ideas. More red-light cameras could be approved Monday, as well. Seven are in operation now; another 10 will be considered on the after- noon consent agenda. They would be locat- ed along Fruitville Road, U.S. 301, Lockwood Ridge Road, Tuttle Avenue and South Tamiami Trail. The afternoon session should wrap up with updates on the Chalk Festival (waiver of fees and use of paint requested) and a short report on downtown vagrancy. In the evening session, beginning at 6 p.m., the city commissioners will hold a public hearing on a proposed Domestic Partnership Registry.
