Sarasota News Leader June 21, 2013 Page 55 REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER ARRESTED FOR ADDITIONAL CRIMES The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has arrested Tyler Kuntz, 22, of 6023 Viola Road, Venice, for allegedly molesting two young girls when he worked in the aftercare program at their school, the Sheriff's Office has announced. "The victims came forward separately in January and June of this year to report that they were touched inappropriately by Kuntz in 2011," a press release reports. "One girl said she was in kindergarten at the time and the other said she was in first grade when the alleged incidents occurred." Kuntz was employed by Taylor Ranch Elementary School as a program attendant from October 2009 to September 2011, the report continues. The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office arrested him on Sept. 29, 2011 for Lewd or Lascivious Molestation of a Child for an incident that occurred at a private home, the release adds. Kuntz is on probation for that offense and is a registered sex offender, the news release notes. MAN ARRESTED ON CHARGE OF EXPLOITING THE ELDERLY The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man who already had an extensive criminal record and charged him for allegedly stealing several thousand dollars worth of household items and jewelry from an elderly woman who had hired him to do yard work and odd jobs around her home, the department has announced.
