More than three dozen works from New College of Florida's arts program are on dis- play in the sixth annual New College of Florida Juried Student Art Exhibition, which runs through March 14, the college has announced. The exhibition is in the Isermann Gallery in the College's Caples Fine Arts Complex, located at 5313 Bayshore Road in Sarasota, behind Sainer Pavilion and just south of The Ringling Museum complex, a news release notes. The exhibition is open to the public from noon to 5 p.m. daily. "The exhibition features a wide selection of work by 16 artists, celebrating the scope and talent of students' most recent creative pur- suits," the release says. The show includes several installations, various sculptures (in metal and found objects), large graphite and pastel drawings and oil and acrylic paintings as well as fabric pieces. "New College students have gone on to study at some of the most prestigious national and international graduate programs for the arts," including California College of the Arts, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Virginia Commonwealth University, Temple Tyler School of the Arts and Goldsmiths at University of London, the release points out.
