The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has released new computer-generated images of a woman, known only as Jane Doe, who was found dead on Feb. 6, 2007. At that time, bones were discovered in a wooded area 50 yards south of 5438 Ashton Court in Sarasota, a news release explains. "The subsequent investigation determined the human remains were that of a woman who was buried in a shallow grave. She had been dead for up to a year. The manner or cause of death has not been released," the release adds. The new images were created by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office with the use of craniofacial reconstruction software, the release continues. The victim was a white female in her 30s or 40s, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 145 to 165 pounds, with long brown hair that had blonde streaks. Her eye color could not be determined and may be different from that depicted, the release notes. The skeletal analysis indicated the victim might have fractured her nose and right wrist at some point in her life, it says. "She had breast implants that were manufactured before the issuance of serial numbers," the release continues. Additionally, she was wear- ing a shirt "Made in Italy" and a skirt with a leather belt made by "Spice Wear." A Stable Isotope Analysis of the victim's teeth, bone and hair is being performed to try to determine her water consumption and diet in the effort to pinpoint in which areas of the country she lived.
