The News Leader has been unable to reach
Siegel for comment.
RENTAL WOES
On Jan. 23, Sharon Thibodeau, a Michigan
resident, emailed this reporter to say she had
found News Leader articles in an online search
about the Sabal Drive house. In subsequent
correspondence, she included a timeline she
had composed regarding her and her family's
experience with Siegel.
In December 2012, she and her husband,
Ken, began corresponding via email with
Siegel regarding what Siegel represented as
a 12-bedroom house on Siesta Key. "I saw his
rental property both on Vacation Rentals By
Owner and Trip Advisor, which led us to his
website, siestaresorts.com," Sharon wrote
in the timeline. (The News Leader this week
was unable to find that website, though this
reporter found a YouTube link showing scenes
of the 6537 Sabal Drive house: youtube.com/
watch?v=ELFcQMIAum8. The website says
the video was posted by Craig Richard on Feb.
